Yvonne Domenge, Mexican sculptor with more than 38 years of accomplishments. Nowadays and for the second time, she is a member of the  Sistema Nacional de Creadores de Arte del FONCA (Art Creators National System).

Domenge, in this occasion, exhibits 3 large format pieces. These pieces were specially made for an open air space in the Marco Museum. All of them made of carbon steel and have a plastic language allusive to ribbons representative of new pathways. They are open ways that caress the space. In words of Luis Rius, CENIDIAP researcher of the INBA and art critic: “The Domenge's red colour used in her sculptures is related to blood and has a bivalent significance referent to life and passion, as well as to grief and death”. For the artist, the central piece Cumela is the essence that would fill up the negative spaces of spheres, it is the passion, the eroticism. It's assuming yourself as a living being.
