Yvonne Domenge welcomes 10 international sculptors in the first International Sculpture Biennial of Leon Guanajuato, August 2007. 

 

Domenge, a distinguished cultural representative from Mexico, for the third time member of the National Art Creators System of the FONCA, received the selected artists with a conference called “Passion for Sculpture” where she showed her work along the 38  years being a sculptress. We could see her sweet and stainless steel monumental and beautiful pieces.

We could also see her small format pieces, that she considers are more “personal”. Domenge uses all kind of materials as resins, porcelain, glass, stone, onyx and wood which she works with marvelous mastery.

Some of those pieces have been exposed in very important museum over the world, as well as The Modern Art Museum of Mexico City and the Louvre in Paris.
