In the artist's own words “Lily represents the lightness of the victory transcendent force”. It's a flower that helps to forget the humanity problems. It's a piece that evokes a traditional lily whose petals in movement recall a sea urchin. Lily is a sculpture considered by Domenge as her country's ambassador, and it was created thinking of the Chinese people with who will be coexisting in the Olympic Park of Beijing.

At the same time, Yvonne Domenge was chosen to be a honorary Associated Member of the Sculpture Section of the Royal Academy of Sciences, Letters and Fine Arts of Belgium.
